Join us every Friday for our Art Meet-Up Sessions hosted by some of the wonderful Hwyl Collective (previously Caerphilly Creatives)!
1-4pm Adults Session
4-6pm Family Friendly Session
Drop in 1-6pm with whatever project or idea you’re working on, and enjoy some community crafting time. These sessions will be self-guided, with some lovely local artists around to ask your questions to, or simply just to body double so you actually get that project that’s been sitting around for months done!!
These afternoons are open to everyone - whether you’re a professional artist looking for a studio-feel environment, with options to think tank, and maybe even run little group crits, or you just want to bring your hobby along and hang out with like-minded people.
Kids/Youth are welcome after school from 4-6pm to join the creative community! Whether your teenager has some art homework they’d love some extra tips and help with, or you’ve got a little craft for your toddler to do but don’t have space at home, feel free to come along for a couple of hours each Friday!
We want to celebrate and support creativity in Caerphilly, and hope that we can create something beautiful with you all on Fridays!
Art Meet-Ups are hosted at Joy House Creations, Upstairs at Y Banc, 8 The Twyn, Caerphilly, CF831UE.
Your ticket cost covers your refreshments and the room hire for the time, so feel free to help yourself to tea and biccies while you create, or bring along your packed lunch!
