Join us for Chapters – a cosy mix of listening, crafting & connecting.
Chapters is a brand-new 4-week crafty book club brought to you by Joy House Creations & Roots Book Club.
This October, we’ll be curling up together with Before The Coffee Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi. Each week we’ll listen to a section of the story aloud, giving you time to settle in with your craft project while the words unfold. Afterwards, we’ll share a cuppa, biscuits, and a relaxed chat about what we’ve just heard.
It’s the perfect book club for anyone who:
✨ Struggles to read a full book in time for traditional clubs
✨ Loves crafting with company
✨ Needs a little motivation to finally finish that project (yes, even the Christmas gifts!)
So grab your yarn, sketchbook, embroidery hoop—or just yourself and a friend—and join us for the cosiest Tuesday evenings this autumn.
Tickets:
£7 per session (includes tea, biscuits & warm company)
Or book all 4 weeks together and pay just £25 (only £6.25 per session)
Venue: Joy House Creations, Unit 7, Ffos Caerffili, Park Lane, Caerphilly, CF83 1BN
Please note: Ffos is closed to the public on Tuesday evenings, so our group will have the space to ourselves. Hot drinks and biscuits will be provided, but feel free to bring your own snacks or dinner as the food vendors will be closed (a microwave will be available).
Each ticket is valid for one person. To book for more than one, simply adjust the quantity at checkout. You may be asked to show your confirmation email on arrival.
