We’ve been working hard the last few months to turn a rather drab office into a cosy creative home to be shared by the community, and it’s FINALLY time to welcome you all in! So we’re inviting you to grab your gals, your pals, your kids, your folks, your neighbours and your dog, and join us in celebrating the Opening Party for our brand new studio space in Y Banc! Woohoo!
This beautiful new studio has so much space that able to offer loads of different crafts at the same time. So you can expect a whole mix of creative joy for all ages and abilities to get involved with!
Pottery Painting - all ages!
We’ve got over 70 varieties of pots to choose from for some lovely memory making with your favourite people. The ticket covers your studio/glazing fee, and pots will be chosen and paid for on the day. You’ll leave your pots with us to glaze and fire, and then receive them back in the following 4-7 weeks all shiny and ready to use!
Mini Needle Felting - 11+ recommended with adult supervision.
Dip your toes in to the world of needle felting with this have a go experience. Create a mini landscape by painting with wool, blending colours and stabbing any negativity away! This workshop uses sharp needles, so young people will require an adult to be with them throughout.
Mini Kinusaiga - 8+ recommended with an adult to help.
Dive in to our huge range of fabrics to create your own mini Kinusaiga piece, ready to hang proudly at home. This craft is wonderfully satisfying, and pretty simple once you get into the flow - its definitely become a personal favourite!
Lino Printed Tote Bags - 3+ recommended with adult supervision.
Use our pre-carved lino stamps to create a unique tote bag, and add your own flare with fabric pens!
Rope Art - 5+ recommended with adult supervision.
Create a colourful piece of art with rope, glue and wooden shapes - great fun for kids and adults to simply play or form a piece of gorgeous art.
There will be some light refreshments available throughout the day, and we’re right on the high street, so it’s the perfect spot to pop out for some lunch or pop in for a craft around your shopping!
Parking is also incredibly handy (and cheap!) just opposite Y Banc in The Twyn car park.

Tickets for pottery painting are for one person only, please buy a ticket for each person you’re booking on.
